2193961 - viewcert.exe throws "Error decoding '%1' "

Symptom

  • When X.509 certificate was created in SQL Anywhere 11, with "createcert.exe" utility and migrated to SQL Anywhere 16.0.0.1670 and later, viewcert.exe from SQL Anywhere 16.0.0.1670 or later version could not decode the key
  • The certificate created from SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 could not be used to implement end-to-end encryption for secure communication protocol.
