2193986 - Sapstack not showing C-Call stack

Symptom

The “sapstack” command could not provide output the C-call stack.
For more information on this command, refer to SAP Note 1964673 - C-Call stack analysis

  • On Windows, there could be some error OpenProcess (<PID>) failed: => Giving up

       where 10388 corresponds to the process ID (PID)
     
  • On Linux, usually there is not detailed error shown. The outcome could look as follows:
    sapstack_Linux.jpg
    where 25895 corresponds to the PID.
