2194509 - Role Usage Sync job finished with status cancelled

Symptom

Role Sync job cancels with an ABAP dump.  In SM37, the job log indicates the message "Internal session terminated with a runtime error (see ST22)".

ABAP Dump shows the following:

What happened?
     The exception 'CX_GRFN_EXCEPTION' was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierarchy.

     Since exceptions represent error situations and this error was not adequately responded to, the running ABAP program 'CL_GRAC_AD_AUTH_MGMT_RFC======CP' has to be terminated
