2195667 - How to Delete Connector Instances for Business Process Operations within Solution Manager 7.1 & 7.2

Symptom

  • In SAP Solution Manager 7.1 or 7.2, within the Data Source Manager of the Business Process Operations Workcenter, multiple connector instances have been created in which the managed systems assigned to the instance may conflict with one another, preventing the population of data within Solution Manager from satellite/managed systems.

  • As a result, multiple instances may have to be deleted for the data connector in question in order to remove potential conflictions; however, recent updates in the Data Source Manager UI have removed the ability to delete connector instances via Change Mode. In order to successfully delete connector instances from Solution Manager systems, users must do this via utilizing the Consistency Report for Dashboard Application.
