2198074 - Hired Date rule for Assignment Profile not functioning as expected

• Assignment profile is created using the rule: Hired Date on or after 6/1/2015.
• When preview users is selected the list includes people hired on 5/31/2015, which is one day before the rule.

• The problem is caused by the discrepancy between the server time zone and the admin user time zone who is creating/editing the assignment profile.
• Since the hired date of a user only includes the date, when a calculation needs to be done a time of 00:00:00 is added for timezone shifting purposes. If the user who is viewing the users is in a timezone that is -1 to the server timezone all user hire dates will shift to the day before.

• This behavior is by design because the admin user has a preference to show information in their respective time zone.
• The rule itself will process correctly as it will be run on the server and will process given a hired date of 6/1/2015.
• The visual preview of the admin is a product of the timezone shift in the UI and has no impact on the assignment profile rule.
