2199354 - dbcc upgrade_object fails with Msg 208 after upgrade to ASE 15.7 / 16.0 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • After upgrading ASE dbcc upgrade_object generates Msg 208 on many procedures:
    dbcc upgrade_object('db','p1_test')
    go
    Msg 208, Level 16, State 1:
    Server 'ASE', Procedure 'p1_test', Line 8:
    #tmp_test1 not found. Specify owner.objectname or use sp_help to check whether the object exists...

  • The temporay table referenced by procedure p1_test is created outside the procedure and does not currently exist.
