2200470 - Create subscription fails to login to PDS: ASE Error 4002 - SRS

Symptom

  • An attempt to create a subscritpion using atomic materialization for a table replication definition failed.
  • It failed to login into the primary data server (PDS) :

SQM starting: 104:-2147482099  rd_rep_table_list.sub_rep_table_list 
ERROR #1028 SUB(sub_rep_table_list) - seful/cm.c(4955)  Message from server: Message: 4002, State 1, Severity 14 -- 'Login failed. '. 
ERROR #1027 SUB(sub_rep_table_list) - seful/cm.c(4955)  Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 67175468, Severity 4 -- 'ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.'
ERROR #13045 SUB(sub_rep_table_list) - seful/cm.c(4959) Failed to connect to server 'PRIM_DS' as user 'sa'. See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.
