2201363 - New Button is Not Available to Create New Custom Object Using Custom Object Builder

You want to create a new custom object but the New button is missing in the Custom Object Builder.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Login to the frontend of the system.
2. Go to Administrator work center.
3. Select Custom Object Builder and open it.
4. You will not be able to see the New button in this screen.

 

System works as designed.

New Custom Business Object option is enabled for a Tenant + Customer ID/ Partner ID combination. That means on a system if you have multiple tenants and they are mapped to same customer ID/ partner ID then custom object can be created only on one tenant in that system. New button will be enabled in all the tenant and once the key user solution was created in any of the tenant then the new button in other tenants will be disabled. Only upload will be available in all other tenants.

As mentioned in the above screenshot you can see a message in the screen Please upload custom business objects from other tenant. You need to find the tenant where you have already created a custom object and you should login to that tenant and have to create the new custom object.
