2202839 - Incorrect Time Profile Start Date of Employees

Today you have hired an employee with a past date hire (e.g. 13.05.2009) and the system defaulted his Time Profile Start Date to the beginning of 3rd month before today's date.

1. Go to Time Administration work center
2. Go to Employees view
3. Search for the respective employee and click Edit
4. Move to Time Profile tab
5. Under Time Profile section you can see that the date is maintained three months before hiring month.

Time Profile date is defaulted to the beginning of the 3rd month before the system date on which hiring is performed.

For example:

Hiring performed on 15.07.2015.

Hiring date is 13.05.2009.

Time Profile Start Date is defaulted to 01.05.2015 (beginning of the 3rd month before the system date on which hiring is performed).

The assumption here is that for such past dated hires, employees shall not be recording time more than 3 months in past.

You can now chnage the Time Profile Date manually in UI.

You can change the Start Date to the desired date and save it.

You can also use Migration Tool to update Time Profile Start Date while the process of hiring and creating Time File data.

Exception: No Manual Adjustment possible in Time Account while modifying the Time Profile.
