2203011 - How to change the path of an Excel data source located on a mapped network drive to UNC path using Web Intelligence Rich Client

Symptom

  • A WebI report has been created using Web Intelligence Rich Client based on an Excel data source which is located on a mapped network drive (e.g. "Z:\Book1.xlsx").
  • When exporting the WebI report to the CMS repository, it will be not possible to refresh the report, since the SIA domain user can't access the Z:\ drive, only if it's mapped on the BO Server.
  • However, it's not possible to change the data source of an existing or new WebI report from the network drive to the UNC path, because Rich Client will overwrite it.
