2203793 - ESI - How to configure Message Level authentication (UsernameToken) for Logical Ports in Transaction SOAMANAGER

Symptom

  • A Consumer Proxy was created using an external WSDL file, which does not contain any Web Service Policy.
    AND
  • Message Level authentication (UsernameToken) is required to call the service.

It is not possible to choose this type of authentication from transaction SOAMANAGER – neither for WSDL based, nor for manual configuration services.
