Resolution
This issue can be caused due to JPG file being imported not have been correctly converted. As an example, the picture was in .PNG format and instead of converting it through a third-party application, simply changing the extension of the file to .JPG.
To correct this, you need to convert the image through a third-party application (as an example, Microsoft Picture Manager or Snagit).
Converting pictures with Snagit
- Select the pictures you need to convert → right click on them → select to open them with Snagit → click on (Batch) Convert Image(s).
- In the first window it will show all the files that you are converting. If you already selected them in step one, you can just click Next.
- Don’t select any filters, just click Next.
- Select JPG as the file format and select the directory where you wish to save the new files.
- Review configurations and, if everything looks correct, click on Finish to run the conversion.
Converting pictures with Microsoft Office
- Select the pictures you need to convert → right click on them → select to open them with Microsoft Office.
- In the header, click on “File” → “Export…”.
- Select “JPEG File Interchange Format” and click OK.
