2204319 - How to remove surveys from a user's Learning Plan?

• How to remove optional surveys from users?
• When surveys are assigned as required, users must complete the survey to receive credit for the item. However, for optional surveys, it remains on their Learning Plan and is shown as overdue.
• For a required survey, it can be removed from the user, but then they'll not receive credit for the item. The only option is to mark the survey as optional, record the completion event and then remove the survey from the user.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Optional surveys (i.e., that were assigned without a required date) will remain on the users' Learning Plan until they are removed or completed. This is the application's expected behavior.

Available options to remove optional surveys from users:

• The user can manually remove the survey from their Learning Plan:
  1. Logged into the system as the user >
  2. Navigate to the Learning homepage, locate the survey to be removed at the Requests for Me section >
  3. Remove the survey.
     
     
• For surveys classified as 'Course Feedback Survey', there is an automatic process that looks for overdue surveys that were not yet started: Purge Optional Overdue Course Feedback Surveys
  1. Navigate to Learning Administration >
  2. At System Administration > Automatic Processes > Purge Optional Overdue Course Feedback Surveys and schedule the job as per Scheduling the Clean-Up of Optional Overdue Course Feedback Surveys.
     
     
• Learning Administrators can remove surveys directly from the users' records:
  1. Navigate to Learning Administration >
  2. At People > Users > search for the required user and open its record >
  3. At the Surveys tab, locate the survey to be removed >
  4. Click on the 'Remove' checkbox >
  5. Click on 'Apply Changes'.
     
     
• Learning Administrators can also remove surveys through the Manage Assignments menu:
  1. Navigate to Learning Administration >
  2. At Manage User Learning > Manage Assignments > select the option 'Remove Surveys' >
  3. Proceed with the steps as prompted.

Alternatively, to suggest a different system behavior, it would be possible to have an enhancement request created for it (as per KBA 2090228), where the Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
