Symptom
You receive an error while checking or activating your custom solution on the SAP Cloud Applications Studio:
Work Center View is not assigned to a Work Center
Environment

Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAP Cloud Applications Studio.
- Open your custom solution.
- Open Solution Explorer.
- Right click on the solution name and select Check -> Items and Runtime Objects or Activate -> All Items.
Cause
You have not assigned this Work Center View to any Work Center on the UI designer and hence the system throws this error message.
Resolution
- Procedure to assign the work center view to a custom work center:
- Double click on the custom Work Center (.WCF) which you want to assign the view
UI Designer opens... - On the Designer tab, select the TestView
- In the Configuration Explorer, select your work center view WCVIEW.uiwocview and drag it onto the empty space in the middle of the screen.
- A warning appears.
- Click Yes
- Save and Activate and close the UI designer
- Procedure to assign the work center view to a standard work center:
- Open UI Designer, by clicking on Extensions > Administration > Open UI Designer from Visual Studio
- Go to Configuration Explorer tab.
- Search for the Work Center name and double-click the selected .WCF
- Select the Extensibility Explorer tab and click on Assign a view to Work Center.
- Save and Activate and close the UI Designer
- In the solution explorer, right click Activate all items and Deploy Business Configuration of solution level
