2205520 - Error ORA-15041 during add disk when plenty of space exists in ASM

Symptom

An ORA-15041 ( diskgroup space exhausted  ) occurs when adding of a disk (which implicitly does a rebalance unless told otherwise).

Following errors shows in alert log file:

ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15041: diskgroup "<diskgroup>" space exhausted

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kffdScanBegin01], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
