2207711 - Performance issue may be encountered when upgrading from ASE 15.0.2 to ASE 15.7.

Symptom

  • After upgrading from ASE 15.0.2 to ASE 15.7, a specific sql statement is running slowly (performance issue).
  • The same sql statement executed for 30 seconds on ASE 15.0.2 but it would take about 5 minutes on ASE 15.7.
  • The sql has the following attributes:
    • Nested loop joins
    • IsNull
    • Distinct
