2208010 - Performance problem with REFERENCE caches when there are no matches in the database - SAP ESP

Symptom

  • In an SAP Event Stream Processor (ESP) 5.1 project, a REFERENCE is created to a HANA table and the query caching feature of the REFERENCE is enabled.
  • At run-time, there are performance problems due to a large number of queries being made to the HANA database when these queries do not return data to ESP.
