2208041 - Unable to Assign AuC in Settlement Rule Assignments for Projects

You have created a fixed asset under construction (AuC) 123. You try to assign this asset under AuC Assignment in the Settlement Rule. You observe that the asset is not shown under the dropdown list when you click on the button Assign AuC and under the value help of AuC ID.

(123 represents the fixed asset under construction (AuC) ID)

1. Go to Cost and Revenues work center.
2. Select Projects.
3. Select the project ABC (ABC represents the project ID) which is bearing the cost of asset under construction.
4. Click on Assign AuC or Settlement Rule.
5. Select the button AuC Assignment and click on Assign AuC and in the new popup box search for AuC ID 123.

No records found or this AuC is not found which you are trying to select.

The Fixed Asset Class used in the fixed asset is not Flagged as Asset Under Construction in the fine-tune activity Asset Classes, so the asset that you have created is not considered as Asset Under Construction but as Asset only.

Since the asset is still with the status In Process you delete the asset if you want to use the same fixed asset class and if you have any other fixed asset using the same asset class then create a new fixed asset class

1. Go to Business Configuration work center and Implementation Project view.
2. Select a change project, and select Open Activity List.
3. In tab Fine-Tuning, search for activity Fixed Asset Class, and Open it.
4. Open activity Edit Fixed Asset Class.
5. Select a Fixed Asset Class and Flag the box Asset Under Construction

When you choose to accumulate project costs till settlement, you have to create a default class where all assets under construction are created. You can either mark the standard available fixed asset class 4000 as the default class to create asset under construction or create a custom fixed asset class and Flag it as Asset Under Construction
