Symptom

  • System could not be started

The output of system start command:

Starting Startup Agent sapstartsrv
FAIL: Timeout
Startup of Instance Service failed
See /export/home/<sid>adm/startsap_XXXXX.log for details.

  • sapcontrol command is not working

The output of sapcontrol command:

FAIL: NIECONN_REFUSED (Connection refused), NiRawConnect failed in plugin_fopen()
or
FAIL: NIECONN_BROKEN (Connection reset by peer), NiRawRead failed in plugin_sapfrecv()
