2208564 - Language package remains in the import queue

Symptom

After successfully completing a language import in SMLT, the language transport requests can still be seen in the import queue in STMS. 
The status of the import in SMLT is "Imported completely" as in below example for Portuguese language:

The related requests still show up in the import queue and the status is "Request Already Imported":
