2208595 - Compensation - Missing budget section(s)

A manager is not able to see a specific budget section (Merit, Lumpsum etc) in Compensation worksheets. Additionally, this template has FBP (Field Based Permissions) enabled.

SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

The customer has the following Budget configuration with 2 sections - example:

• One section -> Merit
• Other section -> Lumpsum

 

And the following FBP visibilities for the two fields being used in the Budget: Merit and Lumpsum.

Manager (e.g. Carla Grant) has no visibility for Merit but she has for Lumpsum;

HR Manager (e.g. Matheus Korndoerfer) has visibility for both fields Merit and Lumpsum.

 

1. Launch a test form for the manager (e.g. Carla Grant)
2. Proxy as her
3. Open the Compensation tab
4. Open the form

Carla Grant's Inbox - only Lumpsum budget appears

 

5. Now send the form to next step - HR Manager (e.g. Matheus Korndoerfer)

Matheus's Inbox - both Merit and Lumpsum budget appear

The root cause is because Carla Grant does not have FBP visibility for the field Merit - and HR Manager Matheus Korndoerfer does have.

Give FBP visibility for Carla Grant for the affected field Merit and relaunch the form.

 

1. Proxy again as Manager Carla Grant 
2. Open Compensation tab
3. Open the form.

Carla's Inbox - now both Merit and Lumpsum budget are appearing
