Symptom

After upgrading to SAP Mobile Platform 2.3.6, the following error started to occur in the SMP server log and preventing clients from doing a successful sync:

  • Caused by: com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybSQLException: SQL Anywhere Error -143: Column 'ROOT_VT_ID' not found
  • ERROR MMS pool-3-thread-13 [com.sybase.sup.server.dcn.DCNHandler] [] [] condition failed: false java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: condition failed: false
