Symptom

  • After Install or upgrade to Data Services 4.2 Sp5 on top of compatible version of Business Intelligence 4.1 in Linux environment Object Promotion - export or import fails in Data Services Management Console with following error:
  • Caught exception : No such file or directory
  • Same error is seen in DS.AdminService log, no more information in any data services or tomcat logs
