2210145 - Do not see my language label for a translatable field on a MDF object

• Translatable field in MDF does not show my language to add the label value
• The globe icon for a translatable field on a MDF object does not show my language, why?

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Login to your SuccessFactors instance and access the MDF object that has a translatable field defined as shown below and click on the underlined globe icon. This will show a list of different languages that are enabled on your SuccessFactors instance.

      2. Let us consider that locale for which you went to set the corresponding label is English US in the list of translatable languages. As seen in the screenshot below, the English US locale is unavailable in the list.

This is because, if the logged in user's language is set as English US in the SuccessFactors instance, by default on the UI the option available to enter the value is in the user's default locale.

The screenshot below displays the UI in the logged in user's default locale. As seen below, in the highlighted field here the user will be entering the value in English US. Therefore, when you click on the globe icon, this locale will not be available in the list. This behavior will be the same for all the other languages that are available on your SuccessFactors instance.
