2210214 - Drill to Detail - Time Filters

When Drill to Detail data is retrieved for a measure which shows the result as at the end of the reporting period, and the selected reporting period is a quarter or a year, each employee appears in up to one record per month in the period.

1. View Drill to Detail for the End of Period Headcount for one entire year.  Export the data to Excel.
2. Filter on a few individual employee ID numbers.  See how many records appear for each, and check the effective date of each one.

Drill to Detail queries the same database that is used to calculate the measures.  If a record contributes to the selected figure, it will appear in the DTD output.  Records cannot be filtered out other than by filtering the query itself, which will change the result figure.

To see one record per employee in most cases for point-in-time measures, reduce the selected time period to one month.
