2210608 - Expected Bank Value Date of Cash Outflows/Inflows are Showing Incorrectly Under Liquidity Forecasts View

Symptom

You have executed the Liquidity Forecast Run. As a result the  Liquidity Forecast shows payments under period/dates differing from their Expected Bank Value Date.

Some payments which may be cash outflows/inflows having an Expected Bank Value Date of  e.g. 01.07.2015 are showing under 01.09.2015 in the Liquidity Forecast view.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Liquidity Management work center.
  2. Under Liquidity Forecast View Select Liquidity Forecast.
  3. Enter the Liquidity Forecast ID XYZ.

In the report details view of the above Liquidity Forecast XYZ payments are showing under different period of time especially for those payments for which the Expected Bank Value Date is older and concerned payments are not confirmed in bank statemetns during the Liquidity Forecast Run.

Cause

If the payments Expected Bank Value date is 01.07.2015 which is in the past and is still not included in any Bank Statement  as on current date during the execution of the Liquidity Forecast Run then such items will be shown under a different date which is always is the Latest Expected Value Date, here 01.09.2015 in the Liquidity Forecasts view.

Resolution

Example:

You have a Supplier Invoice 123 which was paid via Outgoing Bank transfer 456.  The Expected Bank Value Date is 01.07.2015.

During the creation of Liquidity Forecast Run on 01.09.2015 if the bank transfer 456 is still not included and confirmed in any of the Bank Statements - the payment will show under the date 01.09.2015 only.

This is an expected behavior wich intents to help the cash manager in decision making also in helping to prioritize the payments to include in the Bank Statements.
