2211212 - ERROR: Invalid entry found in DB independent control file

Symptom

You are performing a homogeneous or heterogenous system copy using R3load Version 7.41 or higher.
At the import of one or more packages you get an error message:

ERROR: invalid entry found in DB independent control file

or

(RDI) ERROR: keyword "fld" or "qry" expected at line <line_number> of DB independent control file "ABAP/DATA/<PACKAGE>.STR"

This error has been noticed mainly during the import of SAPVIEW package, so in most cases the DB independent control file in question is the SAPVIEW.STR file and the error is found in the SAPVIEW.log file.
