2211302 - Job Application Mandatory fields are shown to the user depends on the permission the user has to the fields - Recruiting Management

The Field is declared as required in the Job Application XML, but it is not shown as a required field in the UI for some users.

This is due to the permission the user has to the Required field.

Only if the user has write Permission to the mandatory field, then the field is marked as required for the user.

If the User has only read permission to the mandatory field, then it will be shown as a non-required field, even though the field is marked as required in the XML.

<Additional Notes>

• If the user does not have read or write permission to the mandatory field, the user can update the job application in the current application status without any errors. When the user tries to change the application status, it may show a validation error if some required fields must be filled by the candidate or other operator(s) before proceeding. For details, check KBA 2613826  - Application status pipeline validation - Recruiting Management.
