2211670 - SuccessFactors: SFAPI and ODATA Errors: Error executing DESCRIBE for PicklistLabel : : NO_PERMISSIONS_EXCEPTION Insufficient permissions!

SFAPI returns the following error when "Describe" operation is executed for the SFAPI entity PicklistLabel.

Error executing DESCRIBE for PicklistLabel : : NO_PERMISSIONS_EXCEPTION Insufficient permissions!

1. Execute a "Describe" operation for PicklistLabel or PicklistOption.
2. The above error is returned.

This is due to lack of required permissions for the API user.

1. Logon Successfactors system.
2. Go to Admin Center
3. Select "Manage Permission Roles" from under "Set User Permissions"
4. Select the API role here.
5. Click on "Permission..."
6. Under "Manage System Properties", check the "Picklist Management and Picklists Mappings Set Up" option and click on "Done".
