2211890 - ME51N error ME083: enter valuation price - SAP ERP & S/4 HANA

Symptom

  • There is a material with no price (0.00) in the Accounting View of the Material Master.

  • A price is defined in the Purchasing Info Record, but it is not being pulled into the document.

  • The Valuation Price field is configured as a "Required Entry" in Customizing.

  • When creating or saving a Purchase Requisition (PR) in transaction ME51N (or via Sales Order integration), the system triggers error ME083: "Enter Valuation Price".
