2212276 - Cannot save query view to NetWeaver server when standard transport is activated

Symptom

In AO, user can't save query view to NetWeaver server when standard transport is activated. An error message “Standard transport system is active. Saving is not permitted” will be displayed.

Reproducing the Issue

Save query view to NetWeaver server in AO.

Cause

If standard transport is activated, when save a view to NetWeaver server, GUI connection is required for the pop up. However,  AO does not support the GUI connection.

Resolution

This is a limitation. Please switch off the standard transport when saving view to NetWeaver server in AO.

  1. Run t-code: RSOR.
  2. Click "Edit" -> "Transport" -> "Switch-Off Standard".
