2212302 - Offer Letter not pulling updated values from Job Requisition and Application forms - Recruiting Management

When creating a new version of an Offer Letter, the most updated values from Job Requisition or Application are not automatically populating.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Log in to SuccessFactors BizX;
2. Recruiting;
3. Offer Approvals;
4. Edit an Offer Approval creating a new version;
5. Values from Job Requisition and/or application depending on Admin Center settings.

Since B1505 release, if the same field (same field ID) is being used both on Job Requisition or Application and on Offer Approval and correctly mapped, it will automatically sync with the most updated values on the forms while creating a new version of an offer approval.

Prior to it, data changes made on the job application and job requisition fields were not captured in newer versions of the offer approval. This behavior caused confusion for many customers having been corrected.

However, certain customers would not like to have this enabled and can Opt Out of this new functionality. If this switch is enabled under Recruiting Settings, offer approval doesn't populate the updated values from requisition or application but from previous version generated.

In order to populate values from Job Requisition and/or Application:

1. Admin Center;
2. Recruiting;
3. Manage Recruiting Settings;
4. Offer Approval -> Disable:
5. “Do not pull updated job application and job requisition field data on the offer approval when an offer approval is edited or a new version is created”

To NOT populate values from Job Requisition and/or Application:

1. Admin Center;
2. Recruiting;
3. Manage Recruiting Settings;
4. Offer Approval -> Enable:
5. “Do not pull updated job application and job requisition field data on the offer approval when an offer approval is edited or a new version is created”
