Introduction to Intelligent Services
Intelligent Services can leverage tight integration between SuccessFactors HXM Suite modules and predict the next step in an HR transaction to simplify how HR is run. When these events occur in one part of the suite, other areas are made aware of it and can react accordingly. For example, when a manager goes on a leave of absence, her open job requisitions are automatically reassigned, her learning courses are postponed, and her goals are updated, without the need for any manual intervention
Intelligent Services are designed to connect—and predict—transactions resulting from a change, giving users more end-to-end control over events, which will significantly reduce the involvement and the expense of HR shared services within an organization. Prerequisites
- Intelligent Services (Requires engagement with SAP SuccessFactors Professional Services)
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding Intelligent Services is enabled
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Offboarding Intelligent Services is enabled
- Offboarding EC Writeback-requires "Employee Central V2"
How does it works?
- If data is changed in RCM which is defined in the critical field list, then the manger or the new hire will be given a chance to review and accept the new data from RCM
- The critical field list needs to be defined in Onboarding under Setting > Data Dictionary > System > Restart-Fields-Onboarding
- Any fields added here which is a part of RCM-ONB mapping, changes made to these fields in RCM will restart the current activity in Onboarding
Note:
- If activity in Onboarding is in the begining of NES and critical field is updated, the activity moves back to PHV. If the activity is in the middle of NES, it get restarted to the begining of NES
- Once the Onboarding activity is completed, changes to the critical fields in RCM will not affect Onboarding, conditions are set to have this in place
- Changes made and activity restarts can be tracked from audit trail
- Notifications are sent to both Hiring Manager and new hire informing the data is changed and activity is restarted
