2215662 - Error 102 "Incorrect syntax near '%.*s'" when executing run_update_index_stats.sql - SAP ASE for Business Suite

Symptom

  • You are trying to run the script run_update_index_stats.sql as per KBA 1757691 to perform update index statistics for all tables in the <SID> database.
  • This generates the following errors:

Incorrect syntax near 'go'.
Msg 102, Level 15, State 181:

Incorrect syntax near 'go'.
Msg 102, Level 15, State 181:

Server 'SID', Line 26:
Incorrect syntax near 'go'.
