2215920 - How to trace back from sysprocesses an empty spid number as a hostprocess for Java - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • While running a third party application on ASE 15.7 SP134 on Linux
  • The client does not display any traceable information in:
         select * from sysprocesses where spid number order by 1
  • The sysprocesses..hostprocesses values are blank, for example:

1> select * from sysprocesses where spid = XXX order by 1
2> go
