Symptom

Symptom1:

Extraction of data to a BW system from an SAP source system (like ERP, ECC, SRM, CRM, etc.) fails with a short dump on BW side:

Runtime Errors       SYSTEM_NO_ROLL
The memory request for 4004 bytes could not be complied with.
"SYSTEM_NO_ROLL"
 "SAPLRSDS_BACKEND" bzw. LRSDS_BACKENDU02
 "RSDS_DATA_PUSH_CHAR1000"
The main program was "SAPMSSY1".

Symptom2:

In the source system, SM58 may show the following error as well:

The memory request for nnnn bytes could not be complied with. 0C8D20121471540ABCBD0D42  <--TID
