Symptom
Dump or load database failing with the errors below on Sybase ASE 15.7 SP134 running on Linux x64.
SYBMULTBUF ERROR: In basis_attach_membufs, failed to create zero-filled buffer. System error=Bad file descriptor
SYBMULTBUF ERROR: Fatal Error: Database emulator failed while executing command 161.
Backup Server: 4.139.2.82: [24] The 'mmap' call failed for database/archive device while working on stripe device compres::2::/sybsave/dumps/database/filename.stripe1::000' with error number 9 (Bad file descriptor).
Refer to your operating system documentation for further details. Look for ERROR: ' in the backup server errorlog for additional information from SYBMULTBUF.
