2217493 - Message When Uploading HTML File to System: 'Documents With This MIME type are Not Allowed to be Uploaded According to the Settings Made in Your Solution Configuration'

When you try to upload an HTML file to a workflow rule, you get the below error message:

'The document you want to upload has the MIME type text/html. Documents with this MIME type are not allowed to be uploaded according to the settings made in your solution configuration.'

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Go to the Workflow Rules view.
3. Select New.
4. Input all mandatory information and navigate to Define Actions.
5. Choose Rule Type as E-Mail.
6. Select Browse to upload the relevant email template and select the html file.

Result: You get the message: 'The document you want to upload has the MIME type text/html. Documents with this MIME type are not allowed to be uploaded according to the settings made in your solution configuration.'

HTML document upload is not supported in the system by default.

You need to scope the system to allow HTML files into your system by following scoping steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Open the Activity List.
4. Select the Fine-tune step.
5. Choose to view All Activities.
6. Find the Allowed Mime Types For Document Upload activity and open it.
7. Set the MIME type code 10082, Text/HTML document, as allowed. 
8. Save and Close.
