How to configure / enable the star rating for items and programs?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
To enable the rating scale, please follow the steps below:
- Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administrator > then go to System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration >
- Open LIBRARY in the edit mode >
- Search for showItemRatingInCatalog >
- Enbale the setting by defining showItemRatingInCatalog=true > click on 'Apply Changes'.
After that, for programs, please proceed as below:
- At Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Programs > search for the required record and open it >
- At Settings, click on the "pencil" icon to open the editing view >
- Check the option 'User can rate' > click on 'Save'.
For items, please proceed as below:
- At Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Programs > search for the required record and open it >
- At the Item Details tab, search for the toggle 'User can Rate' and switch it to ON > click on 'Save'.
Once enabled, users will have the option to rate the Learning activites they complete by navigating to the Learning module > Learning History.
Note: In case the toggle 'User can rate' is not visible at the items' records, please make sure to enable it as per Displaying Fields in an Entity.
