2218715 - How to enable / disable the Search tier and weight functionality

This describes how to enable or disable the Search tier and weight functionality.

To enable or disable it, please follow the steps below:

• On Learning Administration, please navigate to System Admin > System Configuration > CATALOG;
• Search for ‘catalogSearchSortByOptionsOrder’;
• The default for this will be 'catalogSearchSortByOptionsOrder=Relevance, Price, Tier, Rating, Title'
• The 'Tier' option should be listed on this option to be enable.
• If you want to disable the Search Tier and Weight functionality, exclude 'Tier' from the list and it will not be used.

Please note:

First option on the list will be default sorting order on the catalog search screen. You can remove any sorting option if you do not want to support.
