2218800 - SAP Jam: Group feed not available in Home feed

Symptom

User is a part of a group and is able to see the feed updates when (s)he navigates to the group. However, the same feed items aren't available in his/her home feed.

Environment

SAP Jam Collaboration

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to SAP Jam and go to any group you are part of. Go to 'Feed Updates' from the left pane.
  2. Verify the latest feeds here.
  3. Navigate to 'Home' within SAP Jam. Select 'All' to be able to view feeds from all groups.
  4. The feeds from the group you just came from may not be available here.

Cause

  • You may not be following the group from which the feeds don't appear in your 'Home'.
  • Feed updates from a group are available as home feed only when you are following that group.

Resolution

  1. Navigate back to the group in question
  2. click More button -> My Group Settings
  3. Select Start following this group
