2219100 - How to set option quoted_identifier for user tables, system tables and sp_help - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • Using isql, you are running a query on a table with special characters.
  • The query returns either no result or error 207 or error 102:

Msg 207, Level 16, State 4:
Server 'ASE', Line 1:
Invalid column name '/slash/name'.

Msg 102, Level 15, State 181:
Server ASE', Line 1:
Incorrect syntax near 'from'.
