2219622 - Advanced Search Functionality For Extension Fields Using Special Characters

In the Advanced Search Screen, when you search using Extension fields with the value that contains any sepcial character such as underscore, hyphen, period etc the result of the search is not desirable or looks incorrect.

1. Navigate to any work center view (Eg: Maketing -> Campaigns)
2. Choose Show Advanced Filter option
3. Enter a value for extension field ABC e.g.: XX_YY

- The Result displays records which contain either XX OR YY as values for the extension field ABC. Whereas, you expect the records which contain the exact value XX_YY.

Currently the search functionality with special characters works only with standard fields and not with extension fields. This is the current system behavior.

In this case the special charaction underscore ( _ ) was considered as a separator and therefore the the system disaplayed results with 'OR operator' execution of the search.

The same applies to other special characters as well.
