2220411 - Rep Agent thread terminating abnormally with errors in ASE.

Symptom

Replication Agent terminates and similar errors like below are recorded in the ASE error log :

Started Rep Agent on database, 'xxxxx' (dbid = 7).
Cannot read, host process disconnected: xxxxx 6280 spid: 1278
Error: 9254, Severity: 20, State: 0
RepAgent(7): Could not locate schema version for object id '-2228225' in the transaction log.
Error: 9204, Severity: 20, State: 1
Could not locate schema for object with id = (-2228225), current marker (241066325,13).
Rep Agent Thread for database 'xxxxx' (dbid = 7) terminated abnormally with error. (major 92,minor 4)
