2220502 - MIRO or BAPI shows error message M8425 - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • When trying to post an invoice via MIRO, error "Error when distributing the exchange rate difference" - M8425 is showed, and is not possible to post the invoice.
  • When trying to post an invoice using BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE, error "Error when distributing the exchange rate difference" - M8425 returns, and is not possible to post the invoice.
  • When trying to reverse an invoice using BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CANCEL, error "Error when distributing the exchange rate difference" - M8425 returns, and is not possible to reverse the invoice.
