Symptom

  • Upgrade BI system to higher version
  • "This query cannot be edited" error occurs when creating or editing WebI document based on Excel data source in BI Launch pad
  • "An error has occurred from the server. The application does not have the right to use a personal data provider. (WIS 30917)" error occurs when creating or editing WebI document  with personal data provider such as Excel, CSV or text file in WebI Rich Client
  • "Desktop Interface - enable local data providers" right is missing for Web Intelligence application
