2220640 - Leads by Status Report Not Showing All Leads

Symptom

You run the standard report Leads by Status and notice that not all Leads are contained.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go the Analysis work center
  2. Go to the Reports view
  3. Find and open the report Leads by Status

The total number of leads shown in the report may be different from the total number of leads maintained in the Sales work center

Cause

There are two global restrictions applied to this report:

  1. 1) Leads without Lifecycle Status are not considered
  2. 2) Leads without Employee Responsible - Sales are not considered

If one of the above applies to a lead it will not be shown in the report.

Resolution

If you want to have a similar report without this restriction you can create a copy of the standard report and remove the global restrictions:

  1. Go to the Business Analytics work center
  2. Go to the Design Reports view
  3. Find the report Leads by Status (technical ID: CODMKLEAH_Q0003)
  4. Select New > Report as Copy
  5. In step 1 of the report wizard select a name of your choice for the new report
  6. Proceed to step 4 of the report wizard
  7. Find the two rows Lifecycle Status and Employee Responsible - Sales
  8. Switch the value selection from Fixed Value Selection to No Value Selection
  9. Finish the report wizard
