2221326 - HTTP 400 error calling ODATA URL through Relay Server

Symptom

  • Calling an ODATA URL from a browser to the SMP 3 server through the Relay Server (RS) and Outbound Enabler (RSOE) fails with an HTTP 400 error.

http://relayserver.host.com/rs17/client/rs.dll/SMPFarm/gateway/odata/sap/EspmService;v=1

  • Calling the URL directly against the SMP 3 server returns the correct result set.
