2221489 - blocking a safepoint: SAP JVM crashed

Symptom

The JVM crashes with the following error in serverX.out:

# SafepointSynchronize::begin: (End of list)
#
# A fatal error has been detected by the SAP Java Virtual Machine:
#
# Signal was sent by another thread.
# Sender thread id: 27140
# Reason: "blocking a safepoint"
#

Usually a hs_err_pid<xxxxx>.log file is also created which contains more information about the crash.
