2221978 - Error 968: Database ...is not upgraded and hence is not available for access - SAP ASE

• During the ASE upgrade, some read only databases were not upgraded, but they are online.
   
• The ASE errorlog shows following messages:

Completed some read only databases were not upgraded. filling free space info for database 'XXXX'.
Started cleaning up the default data cache for database 'XXXX'.
Completed cleaning up the default data cache for database 'XXXX'.
Cannot upgrade database 'XXXX' because it is either marked 'read only' or there is no tempdb.
The transaction log in the database 'XXXX' will use I/O size of 32 Kb.
Database 'XXXX' is now online.

• Error 968 when trying to access the database:

Msg 968, Level 16, State 1:
Server 'YYYYYY', Line 1:
Database 'database 'XXXX' (16)' is not upgraded and hence is not available for access. Please retry your query after database has been upgraded.
